TSMC Posts Record Q3 2026 Revenue as AI Chip Demand Soars

TSMC reported record third-quarter 2026 revenue of roughly NT$1.49 trillion (about $46.7 billion), up 50% year-over-year and ahead of analyst forecasts, as demand for AI accelerator chips continues to outstrip supply. The result beat the company's own July guidance and marks TSMC's sixth straight quarter of record profit, driven largely by advanced-node capacity reserved for AI chip customers like Nvidia and Apple.
